Festival organizers have revealed the Artist By Day Schedule and while it is almost impossible to pick one day from the next, they are now offering up Single Day tickets to those people who cannot make the entire weekend.

There is also an exciting partnership with Sony Entertainment’s Music Unlimited for the Silent Disco. With a line up that is largely dominated by Atlanta’s burgeoning electronic scene, this tent is “quietly” shaping up to be the pre-festival favorite.  Next is CounterPoint’s culinary setup, anchored by D.B.A. Barbecue’s finger-licking fare and their recently launched Pudding Pop Kart, the constantly evolving area will showcase some of Atlanta’s favorite haunts and brands.

And finally… we have art. Tapping street turned fine artist, Greg Mike of ABV, over 1600 square feet of installations will pop up throughout the festival grounds for live painting over the course of the three day event.

It’s time again to announce the next round of artists who will be gracing the stage during the A3C Hip Hop Festival this October in Atlanta!

Paul Wall, Ab-Soul, Devin The Dude, 9th Wonder and Freeway are among the 50+ artists we just added to the lineup. These new acts join the almost 100 new artists who have already been confirmed for A3C 2012 like Twista, Tech N9ne and Gunplay.

Last Chance to Buy a $33 3-Day Pass  – The cost of an A3C 3-day pass goes up on Wednesday, August 1st, so today is your last chance to buy a pass for $33. Buying a pass today will save you $27 compared to buying a pass at the door.

Music Midtown Festival, GeorgiaMUSIC  MIDTOWN FINAL LINEUP ANNOUNCED!

Music Midtown returns this September with a two day lineup that will excite all music lovers. Performers include headlining artists Foo Fighters and Pearl Jam, as well as other chart toppers such as The Avett Brothers, Florence + The Machine, T.I. and Ludacris.

Rounding out the lineup are newly announced artists Garbage, Neon Trees and Adam Ant  – Garbage recently self-released Not Your Kind Of People, on their own record label STUNVOLUME. Neon Trees’ 2010 debut album, Habits, was a double-platinum single; with their first single “Animal” which climbed to #13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Alternative rock Chart. English musician, Adam Ant, started as part of the growing punk rock movement in the late 70’s and has reactivated his musical career with a US tour.

“It is now complete! We are really pleased at the 2012 schedule.” explains festival Promoter, Peter Conlon of Live Nation. “We are taking that next step after last year’s return. Not only did we add a day but we also have begun expanding music genres. Festival fans will get a full experience featuring great music, terrific event amenities and activities, a full food court and the perfect green space. All of this makes Music Midtown a valuable and yet very affordable ticket.”

A3C Hip Hop Fest, Atlanta, GeorgiaA3C FESTIVAL SECOND ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT

It’s time for a second round of artists and showcase announcements. This one includes Twista, CunninLynguists, Phil Ade and Los Rakas.

Twista headlines a Chicago showcase presented by Fakeshore Drive, including a handful of rising Chicago emcees such as YP, Mush Millions and more.

Continuing to highlight regional sounds, the DMV (D.C.-Maryland-Virginia) showcase, The Indie Life, includes Los, Phil Ade, Fat Trel, Gods’illa, RAtheMC, SmCity, Harmony Muzik, Kingpen Slim, Nike Nando and Pro’Verb.

Kevin Nottingham returns with The Underground Express showcase featuring CunninLynguists, Toki Wright, G-Side, Nemo Achilda, MC ADaD, The Doppelgangaz, Sha Stimuli, Luck-One, Supreme INK, Substance and Eric Biddines.

A3C’s second annual international showcase, Planet Hip Hop, partners with NewSkoolRules to present Los Rakas, Ana Tijoux, Kevin Lester, Emmanuel Jal, BocaFloja and others to be announced.

Atlanta Hip Hop collective Two9 showcase includes Curtis Williams, Key, Wavy Wallace, Damien, Fatkidsbrotha and Retro Sushi.

RAtheMC, Gods’Illa, Kevin Lester and Emmanuel Jal were selected from ReverbNation and Sonicbids submissions. A3C will continue to accept artists’ submissions through both websites until August 31. A3C staff listen to every submission and are looking for talented artists from across the country who can bring something unique to the festival. All artists that submit, regardless of selection, receive a 3-day festival pass through Sonicbids or a code to purchase discounted tickets through ReverbNation.

Tech N9ne, Gunplay, Skyzoo, Hopsin, Oddisee and Chris Webby are just a few of other artists confirmed to perform at the 2012 event in addition to a special appearance by Ghet-O-Vision/Shady recording artist Yelawolf. Counter Point Festival 2012THE LINE UP IS HERE – COUNTERPOINT FESTIVAL 2012!

Taking advantage of Atlanta’s diverse creative arts culture, the CounterPoint Music Festival debuts this September 28 and 29, bringing Atlanta’s urban vibe and dynamic creative culture to the Festival grounds. The 8,000 acres of rolling pastures, lakes and woodlands along a 12-mile stretch of Chatahoochee River-front property will play host to multiple stages, art installations and a variety of other exciting activities.

Building on The Echo Project of previous years, CounterpPoint is a new, two-day multi-stage music and arts festival that is guaranteed to have you dancing from stage to stage all day — and well into the night.

Plus, though they will be bringing an unbelievably awesome world-class lineup to the Fest, organizers are also keeping it local by partnering with top Atlanta restaurant and food trucks, breweries, artists and more to keep you outfitted, fed and entertained. MotorheadMayhem today is announcing the addition of Motörhead to the 2012 line-up! This marks the first summer tour that Motörhead has taken part in for several years.

The 2012 Lineup has been Revealed – The main stage for this summer’s Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival will feature Slipknot, Slayer and a major special guest which will be announced on March 5th. The fourth slot on the main stage will feature a rotation of The Devil Wears Prada, As I Lay Dying and Asking Alexandria

In 2012 the tour has upgraded the production on the festival stage and this year the Jagermeister Stage will feature a special headline set by Anthrax supported by a rotation of The Devil Wears Prada, A I Lay Dying and Asking Alexandria, along with Whitechapel, High On Fire and the Jagermeister opener. In addition to the extremely dope acts you’ve come to expect from the A3C like Murs, Elzhi and 9th Wonder and the noteworthy up-and-comers like Tabi Bonney, XV and Jon Connor, organizers are also now officially announcing their first few showcases.

This year, the A3C will feature the third installment of Perfect Attendance, a 3-day showcase hosting some of the best up-and-coming Hip Hop artists from around the U.S., a showcase from 9th Wonder’s independent label JAMLA, and Import / Export, the A3C’s first international showcase, which brings popular Hip Hop artists from around world to Atlanta, GA.
