Organizers have announced that 30+ performers have been added to the 2012 9th Annual Decibel International Festival including the legendary DJ Shadow, MiMOSA, Tycho, Star Slinger, Tipper, Dam-Funk, Clark, Jimmy Edgar,Sepalcure, Public Lover, Machinedrum, George FitzGerald, Peter Van Hoesen, Objekt, Braille, Jeff Samuel, Groudislava, Eprom, AntiVJ, B.Bravo, Keyboard Kid and more.

Previously announced headliners for this trend-setting festival, known as the SXSW of electronic music, include Orbital, The Cannabinoids featuring Erykah Badu, Kimbra, Carl Craig, Shpongle, Matthew Dear, Ariel Pink and Star Slinger. Decibel Festival organizers have today added Orbital, Erykah Badu, and Shpongle to the line up.   Joining them are Balam Acab, MartyParty, Teengirl Fantasy, Shlohomo, Starkey, The Knocks, k. flay, Axel Boman, Appleblim, xxxy, Salva, Baauer, The Stepkids, and Orcas.

Capitol Hill Block Party 2012, WashingtonLINE UP ADDITIONS AND SINGLE DAY PASSES ON SALE!

Seattle’s Capitol Hill Block Party announced today exciting new elements and big changes to the 2012 festival. Music lineup additions Allen Stone, Beat Connection, Don’t Talk To the Cops, The Briefs , Gold Leaves, Grand Archives, Western Haunts, Battleme, Reignwolf,  Imaginary Cities, Nouela, Ava Luna, Keyboard Kid, Spac3man, Helms Alee, Lesbians, Constant Lovers, Haunted Horses, Alicia Amiri will join the previously announced lineup that includes Neko Case, Diplo, Fitz and the Tantrums and more!

In addition to the music lineup, CHBP is expanding this year’s event in both offerings and reach through community programming partnerships. Visual arts, short-film contest, family-focused activities, a brand-new stage, after-hours events, bloggers’ lounge and a live online broadcast from the festival are just some of the different features that are new to the annual urban party.

Festival organizers have announced three new additions to this year’s lineup:  Poliça will be on the Bigfoot Stage, Little People will be in the Banana Shack on Friday, May 25th and New York City’s Hospitality will be on the Bigfoot stage on Sunday, May 27th

Comedien Chelsea Peretti will be in the Banana Shack on Monday, May 28th.

Due to high demand for the 4 day passes, there is presently no plan to sell single day tickets to this year’s Sasquatch Festival.

The 2012 Lineup has been Revealed – The main stage for this summer’s Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival will feature Slipknot, Slayer and a major special guest which will be announced on March 5th. The fourth slot on the main stage will feature a rotation of The Devil Wears Prada, As I Lay Dying and Asking Alexandria

In 2012 the tour has upgraded the production on the festival stage and this year the Jagermeister Stage will feature a special headline set by Anthrax supported by a rotation of The Devil Wears Prada, A I Lay Dying and Asking Alexandria, along with Whitechapel, High On Fire and the Jagermeister opener.
