The History of
the Country Stampede Festival

The Country Stampede is a four-day country music and camping festival held at the end of June in Manhattan, Kansas. The four days are fun-filled and action-packed with great performers, fantastic food, colorful crafts, a swinging saloon, and much, much more!!!

The Country Stampede is held at Tuttle Creek State Park, located approximately 5 miles north of Manhattan on US Highway 24 / Tuttle Creek Blvd. We are less than an hour away from Topeka and Salina and approximately two hours away from Wichita and Kansas City, as well as, Lincoln and Omaha, NE.

The sixteenth annual event will take place June 23-26. Country music superstar Brad Paisley is set to perform in 2011. Past Country Stampede performers have included such artists as: Brooks and Dunn, Big & Rich, Alan Jackson, Reba, Keith Urban, Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney, ZZ Top, Martina McBride, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Rascal Flatts, Hank Williams Jr., and many more!
