Festival organizers Noise Pop and Another Planet Entertainment have announced the lineup for the sixth running of the Treasure Island Music Festival on October 13th & 14th, 2012.

Saturday, October 13th will be headlined by Girl Talk, making him the first artist to ever return to Treasure Island, while Sunday, October 14th will be headlined by The xx, who will be making their only U.S. festival appearance in 2012.

The lineup also includes Public Enemy (marking their 25th Anniversary), M83, The Presets, Grimes, Gossip (making their first stop back in the Bay Area since 2009), Best Coast, Porter Robinson, SBTRKT, Divine Fits (Spoon’s Britt Daniel and Wolf Parade’s Dan Boeckner making their Bay Area debut), and Los Campesinos!. The San Francisco Bay Area will be well-represented by Toro Y Moi, Tycho, Ty Segall, The Coup, Imperial Teen, K.Flay, and Dirty Ghosts. The lineup is rounded out by the likes of Araabmuzik, Youth Lagoon, Matthew Dear, The War On Drugs, Hospitality and The Neighbourhood.

Pygmalion Festival, IllinoisFINAL THREE HEADLINERS ANNOUNCED FOR 2012!

Pygmalion Music Festival organizers have announced the three remaining headliners for this year’s festival line up!

Electro-thrash indie artists SLEIGH BELLS, will kick off this year’s festival at Canopy Club on Thursday September 27, and sunny-post punks BEST COAST will perform the late show on Friday September 28, after DIRTY PROJECTORS, who will perform at an open-air outdoors, all ages show — the first of its kind in downtown Urbana in 8 years of Pygmalion Music Festival — presented by Krannert Center for the Performing Arts.

GRIZZLY BEAR and DINOSAUR JR. will headline the Saturday September 29 outdoor show in Downtown Champaign for this year’s Pygmalion Music Festival.

Other artists being announced today include Laetitia Sadier (of Stereolab), Hundred Waters, Eternal Summers, Night Beds, and So Many Dynamos.
