Milwaukee Summerfest, Wisconsin 2012LINE UP ANNOUNCED FOR NEW BMO HARRIS PAVILION AT SUMMERFEST

Summerfest officials today announced the highly anticipated lineup and additional details for the new BMO Harris Pavilion. The new covered stage will be the shining star of Phase 2 of Milwaukee World Festival, Inc.’s two-year, $35,000,000 redevelopment project on the sound end of Henry Maier Festival Park and help enhance Milwaukee’s lakefront.

Milwaukee’s new and unique lakefront venue will feature a capacity of approximately 10,000 and host the music industry’s hottest performers during the 11 days of Summerfest, and throughout the rest of the summer. Celebrating direct spectacular views of downtown Milwaukee and Lake Michigan, the new venue will feature an iconic, wave-inspired roof, which will cover more than an acre of space (approximately 50,000 square feet) and will provide protection from the elements for approximately 5,000 high-quality permanent seats and bleachers with backrests. Additionally, the venue will accommodate another approximately 5,000 patrons in its standing room viewing area adjacent to the venue and outside of the roof line. The BMO Harris Pavilion will feature state-of-the-art production capabilities and large video screens coupled with a contoured seating bowl to enhance attendees’ viewing experience and sightlines. The area will also feature a permanent elevated lakeside bar with viewing area under the roof and newly constructed public restrooms adjacent to the area.

The stage area will be enhanced by a lakeside restaurant to serve patrons and attendees. Fans can enjoy the all of the venue amenities and entertainment at the BMO Harris Pavilion during Summerfest as part of their Summerfest admission. Milwaukee Summerfest, Wisconsin 2012SECOND GROUP OF HEADLINERS ANNOUNCED FOR SUMMERFEST 2012

Milwaukee Summefest organizers have announced a second group of headlining acts that will perform at Summerfest 2012. Performance dates, times and stage locations will be announced in mid-April.

Summerfest 2012 headliners will include: ZZ Top, Kool & the Gang, Chicago, Ben Folds Five, The Roots, Paul Oakenfold, David Gray, Thievery Corporation, 311, Burton Cummings, Young The Giant, O.A.R., Heartless Bastards, Phantom, Rocker & Slick, The Hives, Fountains of Wayne, Country Throwdown Tour, featuring Gary Allan, Rodney Atkins, Josh Thompson, Sunny Sweeney

This group joins the previously announced headliners which include: Steve Miller Band, The Avett Brothers, Common, Cake, Scorpions, Lupe Fiasco, Gary Clark Jr., Head and the Heart, Robyn, Eric Benet, Phil Vassar, Joss Stone, AWOLNATION, Brantley Gilbert, Tito Rojas, Gavin DeGraw, Atmosphere, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Halestorm , MUTEMATH, Fitz & the Tantrums, The Joy Formidable, La India and Anthony Hamilton.

Additional grounds stage headliners will be announced over the upcoming weeks. Fest-goers can save money with Advanced Sale General Admission tickets, now available on Summerfest.com with no incremental service fees. Discounted offers include a $14 General Admission ticket ($16 value), a $7 Weekday Admission ticket valid Tuesday – Friday, prior to 4:00 pm ($9 value) and a “3 for $36” multi-day pass, valid for one general admission per day on three different days of the festival ($48 value).

New for 2012, as part of the 45th Anniversary celebration, fans can purchase a Power Pass, valid for one general admission per day, all 11 days of Summerfest 2012 for only $45 ($176 value) exclusively at Summerfest.com through June 8, 2012.

North Coast Festival, Chicago, IllinoisNORTH COAST FESTIVAL SINGLE DAY LINE UPS & TICKETS RELEASED

The wait for clarity has ended. NCMF organizers have greeted fans this morning by announcing the lineup for each individual day of Summer’s Last Stand. A very limited amount of $40 tickets will immediately become available for each festival day, increasing to $45 once this allotment is snatched up by eager festival goers.

More NCMF “Afters” + Official Kickoff Party –  In case you can’t wait until Friday, September 2nd to begin the debauchery, the team behind Chicago Hip Hop Connects will be hosting an Official Kickoff Party in the House of Blues Foundation Room on Thursday, September 1st. While this intimate kickoff gathering is open to everyone, the story with the Three Afters at Bottom Lounge announced today stays the same. To purchase tickets for these official North Coast Music Festival After Parties, fans must purchase an equal or greater number of tickets to the Festival itself.
