Camp Bisco, the three-day music and arts festival founded by The Disco Biscuits, follows up its record setting 10th anniversary by confirming the performer lineup for Camp Bisco 11, in Mariaville, New York this July 12-14, 2012. The 100+ performer lineup at the multi-stage camping festival includes: The Disco Biscuits; Bassnectar; Skrillex; Amon Tobin ISAM; Crystal Castles; Atmosphere; Big Boi; Shpongle presents The Masquerade; A-Trak; Lotus; Simian Mobile Disco (DJ set); Dada Life; Zeds Dead; Porter Robinson; Portugal. Camp Bisco 11 will once again be held at the picturesque Indian Lookout Country Club in Mariaville, New York. Clearwater Festival New York 2012NEW ADDITIONS FOR CLEARWATER HUDSON RIVER REVIVAL 2012

Organizers have announced new additions to this year’s Clearwater’s Great Hudson River Revival (The Clearwater Festival) taking place on June 16 and 17 at Croton Point Park in Westchester County, NY.

Newly confirmed artists include Arlo Guthrie & The Guthrie Family (who will be celebrating Woody Guthrie’s 100th Birthday!), the Tao Seeger Brass Band, Ollabelle and Balkan Beat Box. They will join an already amazing line-up featuring Ani DiFranco, Bela Fleck, Dawes, Deer Tick, Tinawiren, The Punch Brothers, The Klezmatics, Donna The Buffalo, Peter Yarrow, Tom Paxton, Aoife O’Donovan, Tim O’Brien, Tom Chapin, Joanne Shenandoah, Toshi Reagon & Big Lovely, Raul Midon, Jill Sobule, Sara Watkins, Guy Davis Band, David Amram, Steve Riley & The Mamou Playboys, Joe Purdy, Melissa Ferrick, Joseph Firecrow Band, Alsarah & the Nubatones, Dala, Melissa Ferrick, Jay Ungar & Molly Mason, Jesse Lege & Bayou Brew … and many more!

Organizers have announced that international bass music star BORGORE has joined the line up! In addition to Borgore’s throwdown, we are beside ourselves to announce the addition of hip-hop legend REDMAN, who will be performing with Break Science and RJD2 on Friday.

Due to circumstances out of the organizers control, Rusko has to cancel his performance at Camp Bisco due to last minute changes with his European touring schedule.

​With about five and a half weeks out from the first annual 4Knots Music Festival, which is happening on July 16 at South Street Seaport, organizers today have announced the free show’s other three bands: battle-flag-wavers TITUS ANDRONICUS, nervy rockers OBITS, and velvet-voiced Fiery Furnaces’ ELEANOR FRIEDBERGER  will join Black Angels, Oberhofer, and Davila 666 on the Seaport stage. Brooklyn Bodega has announced that HOMEBOY SANDMAN, ETERNIA, SHAD, NITTY SCOTT and KID GLYDE will be joining this year’s line-up for the 7th Annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival (BHF) in Dumbo, NY.

Festival producers recently made headlines with the news that they would be working closely with the legendary Q-Tip to curate “Q-Tip & Friends,” a celebration of Hip-Hop with the help of a legendary rolodex of established and fresh talent.

The announcement of the “Friends” is coming soon. In the meantime, Brooklyn Bodega is excited to announce independent, homegrown, developing acts that have the kind of fresh-energy that is hard to ignore. The same way Q-Tip epitomizes the Bodega’s mission statement, this next round of artists have refined their talents, made the rounds in the Hip-Hop scene, pushed the artform forward and established themselves with killer, live shows.

Further enlarging the scope of artists that grace the Festival’s stage each year in Brooklyn, B-Boy Kid Glyde is performing break dance routines as part of Family Day on Saturday, July 16th.

Camp Bisco FestivalSECOND ROUND OF ARTISTS ANNOUNCED FOR CAMP BISCO 2011

Camp Bisco has confirmed the second round of artists slated for Camp Bisco 10, the tenth annual three-day music and arts festival in Mariaville, New York this July 7-9, 2011. The newest artists joining the 100+ performer lineup at the multi-stage camping festival include: a first ever U.S. appearance of Shpongle Live, Ratatat, SPECIAL DISCO VERSION DJ set featuring James Murphy and Pat Mahoney, the New Deal, Four Tet, Conspirator, the Japanese Popstars, Orchard Lounge, Alex English and JDH & Dave P.  

New to Camp Bisco will be the addition of curated label showcase tents. Hosted by DFA Records, Mad Decent and Damon Dash, the three tents will showcase the latest creative elements stemming from each outlet. Unique to Damon Dash will be the recently launched DD172, a media collective brought together for the purpose of developing avant-garde music, television, publication, fashion and art projects. For the Mad Decent tent, the group will be showcasing their latest music and talent discoveries. With first ever North American festival appearances by Nadastrom, Munchi and Dillon Francis. Mad Decent will also share the recently created Moombahton genre of music. Finally DFA Records, made famous for its impeccable radar for music talent, will return to Camp Bisco with a SPECIAL DISCO VERSION DJ set featuring James Murphy and Pat Mahoney. This will be the third trip to Camp Bisco for the duo, who most recently appeared as headliner LCD Soundsystem. The DFA tent will also feature a DJ set by Holy Ghost!.

NYC’s Electric Zoo, put their early bird tickets on sale today and they sold out in a matter of hours. Those quickly disappeared and pricing has moved on the next level — $259 for a weekend pass. The show is scheduled for Labor Day Weekend — Sept. 2 thru Sept. 5, 2011.

The headliners for all three days are as follows: Tiësto, David Guetta with Armin Van Buuren closing out the show on Sunday.
