Summer’s Last Stand, North Coast Music Festival, has revealed the third and final wave of artists to the festival’s third year!

Joining the already eclectic line up is mash-up maestro Girl Talk, instrumental electronic-jam band STS9, live bass heavy belly dancing Beats Antique, Pretty Lights Music recording artist and producer Gramatik, modern eclectic jammers Papadosio, dubstep monster Minnesota, hip hop duo Two Fresh, Chicago’s own Midnight Conspiracy, Brainfeeder bass virtuoso Thundercat, and more!

North Coast Music Festival Line Up 2012

This year, the Groupon Silent Disco has expanded to a dome, housing over 200 festival goers with some of the best music from Chicago artists. Attendees will notice the dome, with people dancing inside in what looks like silence. But each person will have headphones streaming what the DJ is mixing. The Groupon Noise Refuge Personal Time Silent Disco featuring the following DJs:

Festival organizers Noise Pop and Another Planet Entertainment have announced the lineup for the sixth running of the Treasure Island Music Festival on October 13th & 14th, 2012.

Saturday, October 13th will be headlined by Girl Talk, making him the first artist to ever return to Treasure Island, while Sunday, October 14th will be headlined by The xx, who will be making their only U.S. festival appearance in 2012.

The lineup also includes Public Enemy (marking their 25th Anniversary), M83, The Presets, Grimes, Gossip (making their first stop back in the Bay Area since 2009), Best Coast, Porter Robinson, SBTRKT, Divine Fits (Spoon’s Britt Daniel and Wolf Parade’s Dan Boeckner making their Bay Area debut), and Los Campesinos!. The San Francisco Bay Area will be well-represented by Toro Y Moi, Tycho, Ty Segall, The Coup, Imperial Teen, K.Flay, and Dirty Ghosts. The lineup is rounded out by the likes of Araabmuzik, Youth Lagoon, Matthew Dear, The War On Drugs, Hospitality and The Neighbourhood.

MusicfestNW 2012, PortlandLINE UP ANNOUNCED FOR THE 12TH MUSICFESTNW!

MusicfestNW is once again returning to the historic Pioneer Courthouse Square—Portland’s civic living room—for three picturesque outdoor headlining performances at Levi’s Pioneer Stage headlined by shoegazing alternative rockers Silversun Pickups (Sunday, Sept. 9), mashup superstar Girl Talk (Saturday, Sept. 8), and the world music-tinged indie folk of Beirut (Friday, Sept. 7).

Beyond the Square, MusicfestNW will once again take over the city of Portland for five days, with 150 bands playing at 16 clubs all over the city. On Wednesday, Sept. 5, electropop upstarts Passion Pit headline the Crystal Ballroom (the band also plays the next night) and reunited post-hardcore titans Hot Snakes play the Roseland Theater. The alt-country act Old 97’s playing their seminal record Too Far to Care front-to-back, the beautiful folk tunes of The Tallest Man on Earth, local atmospheric rockers The Helio Sequence, local heroes Hazel reuniting for Cavity Search Records 20th anniversary show, rising hip-hop phenoms Yelawolf and Danny Brown, A-Trak DJing on the Nike Sportswear stage, and the debut of the Red Bull Common Thread series featuring guitar heroes Dinosaur Jr. with sets from the bands’ two offshoots, Sebadoh and J. Mascis. The festival also features Critics’ darlings Ceremony, Julia Holter, Lightning Bolt, The Men, Fucked Up, Trust, and The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart will all be performing special sets of over the September weekend.

Festival wristbands and tickets for shows at Pioneer Courthouse Square, Crystal Ballroom, Roseland Theater, and Aladdin Theater go on sale on Friday, June 1 via Cascade Tickets. Festival wristbands are on sale at two price points:

– $125 for an all-inclusive wristband that gets you into all three outdoor shows and the rest of the five-day festival.

– $75 for a ticket to one of the three outdoor shows (Silversun Pickups, Girl Talk, or Beirut) and a wristband for admission to the rest of the festival.

Forecastle Festival, KentuckyWILCO AND BASSNECTAR JOIN MY MORNING JACKET AS HEADLINERS FOR FORECASTLE 10TH ANNIVERSARY!

Organizers have announced the lineup for the 10th Anniversary of the Forecastle Festival, July 13-15 in Louisville’s scenic, award-winning Waterfront Park. My Morning Jacket, Wilco and Bassnectar are among the 70+ acts that will whip up some glorious noise at five different stages.

Details for the separately ticketed, late-night after parties, set to take place at venues including the historical Belle of Louisville steamboat, as well as additional artists, art installations, environmental and sustainability activities, outdoor extreme sports park, festival partners, culinary options and other activities will be announced in the coming weeks.
