Counter Point Festival 2012THE LINE UP IS HERE – COUNTERPOINT FESTIVAL 2012!

Taking advantage of Atlanta’s diverse creative arts culture, the CounterPoint Music Festival debuts this September 28 and 29, bringing Atlanta’s urban vibe and dynamic creative culture to the Festival grounds. The 8,000 acres of rolling pastures, lakes and woodlands along a 12-mile stretch of Chatahoochee River-front property will play host to multiple stages, art installations and a variety of other exciting activities.

Building on The Echo Project of previous years, CounterpPoint is a new, two-day multi-stage music and arts festival that is guaranteed to have you dancing from stage to stage all day — and well into the night.

Plus, though they will be bringing an unbelievably awesome world-class lineup to the Fest, organizers are also keeping it local by partnering with top Atlanta restaurant and food trucks, breweries, artists and more to keep you outfitted, fed and entertained. The combination of world-class music and other exciting onsite elements coupled with the scenic waterfront locale will keep you entertained and immersed in the CounterPoint experience all weekend long.

So here it is, the line up with headliners first: Bassnectar, Skrillex, Pretty Lights, AVICII, Steve Angello!

Organisers are thrilled to be able to officially announce that the “eXtra SpEcIal KiLLeR guest tba” from the Phase 1 Lineup Announcement is indeed the multi-Grammy award winning SKRILLEX!

Camp Bisco Festival 2012, New YorkCAMP BISCO ANNOUNCES ARTIST LINE UP FOR 2012

Camp Bisco, the three-day music and arts festival founded by The Disco Biscuits, follows up its record setting 10th anniversary by confirming the performer lineup for Camp Bisco 11, in Mariaville, New York this July 12-14, 2012. The 100+ performer lineup at the multi-stage camping festival includes: The Disco Biscuits; Bassnectar; Skrillex; Amon Tobin ISAM; Crystal Castles; Atmosphere; Big Boi; Shpongle presents The Masquerade; A-Trak; Lotus; Simian Mobile Disco (DJ set); Dada Life; Zeds Dead; Porter Robinson; Portugal. The Man; Big Gigantic; Bonobo (DJ set); Zedd and many more!

Camp Bisco 11 will once again be held at the picturesque Indian Lookout Country Club in Mariaville, New York. The venue is located approximately 30 minutes travel time from Albany, New York and sits on 200 acres of rolling, grass fields. Many of the improvements introduced to Camp Bisco 10 will return, including the second stage in the main field, surround sound system in the dance tents, and a local artists stage

Bonnaroo Festival 2012, TennesseeTHE BONNAROO 2012 LINE UP IS FINALLY HERE!

This year’s Bonnaroo festival returns to Manchester, Tennessee for the 11th time from the 7th – 10th June 2012.  That’s four days and 700 acres of art, workshops, vendors, top-notch comedians — remember, we nabbed John Waters in a skull-printed blazer — and, of course, more than 150 of your favorite musicians. Plus, room for everyone to crash. Like you had to ask.

Tickets for this year’s festival go on sale this Saturday, February 18th at noon EST on Purchase tickets in full, or opt for one of our special payment plans, available for both General Admission or VIP tickets. Headlining on Friday for the opening night of the festival are Skrillex and Incubus, as well as performances from Mac Miller, Mike Posner, Kreayshawn, We Came As Romans, and others.

Foo Fighters and blink-182 will headline on Saturday with performances from Jimmy Eat World, All American Rejects, DJ Pauly D, ASAP Rocky, Motion City Soundtrack, the recently reunited The Promise Ring, NeverShoutNever, Emmure, and more.

The closing day of the festival will feature headliners, Bon Jovi and performances from Andrew Dice Clay, Boys Like Girls, Bayside, Bouncing Souls, Alesana, and others, plus the annual Linc’s very special guest, which will be revealed soon.

In addition to performances, The B-Boy Arena, a breakdancing battle, which made its debut during last year’s Bamboozle, will return with twelve of the top B-Boys in the world competing for a grand prize, which is the largest cash prize to ever be awarded for an underground dance competition in the United States.

2011 was an incredible year for festivals and electronic music. With the New Year rapidly approaching, all eyes are focused on what’s to come next with the leader being ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL (ULTRA), the world’s premiere electronic music event. Tickets are moving at lightning speed, only a limited amount remain (with early bird and advance on-sale tickets selling out in record time), so the promoters are highly encouraging fans not to miss out by unveiling the majority of the ULTRA line up on the Phase 1 announcement.

ULTRA is also returning to downtown Miami with Bayfront Park as it’s new location in order to accommodate a larger footprint for increased capacity. Over the last few years, the festival took place at Bicentennial Park but after reaching record-breaking 150,000 in attendance this year, and becoming the first ever, and only 3-day music festival of its kind to completely sell out 150,000 tickets six weeks in advance, ULTRA is moving next door to the tropical, waterfront park nestled between Biscayne Bay and Biscayne Boulevard. The ULTRA team is taking it back to Bayfront, where it last took place in 2005, transforming and customizing the park in a way never seen before.

Also returning is the Ultra Mega Structure, which will feature specialty areas each day. ARMIN VAN BUUREN’s A STATE OF TRANCE 550 will take over Sunday.
